About Amazing Guinea Hog
The American Guinea Hog is a small heritage breed of pig that is known for its hardiness, adaptability, and gentle nature. They were originally brought to the United States from West Africa in the 1800s and were commonly found on small family farms throughout the southeastern United States.
One of the unique features of American Guinea Hogs is their relatively small size. They typically weigh between 150-300 pounds when fully grown, making them easier to handle than some of the larger commercial pig breeds.
American Guinea Hogs are known for their excellent meat quality, which is often described as tender, flavorful, and well-marbled. The breed is also valued for its lard, which can be used in cooking or soap-making.
About Ours
American Guinea Hog
Our hogs spend the green months out on pasture where they supplement their feed with grass. During the winter again they supplement their feed with hay. This breed unlike others should not have unlimited access to grain as they will become too obese. This is a good thing!
They can eat less grain and more grass. Grass in your pasture is free, grain is not. The hogs are of good temperament and smaller size.

For Sale
We have range of ages available for sale. Little pigs from this year are either guilts or barrows. Previous years are all sows or guilts. All hogs for sale are registered or can be registered by AGH.
Pork For Sale
We sell the full, half, or quarter hogs. They are $4 per lb hanging weight. You pay the butcher fees for your half.
